Be A Perfect Crepe Maker; Buy A Crepe Maker

The making of breakfasts comes in many forms. American pancakes just can't compare to their flatter, more delicate relative the crepe. Of course pancakes are easier to make and much more ideal for syrup absorption. They do have their place! But the question is, is that place above or below crepes?

Crepes are a conventional food that is very versatile. The batter is very simple, made of milk, flour, egg and butter in a runny consistency. Anyone can make crepe batter and everyone loves to eat crepes, sweet or savory or plain. However, can everyone actually make crepes?

The only issue is when it comes to cooking crepes. The pan or griddle must be flat. It has to be at just the right temperature and must be heated evenly. It needs to have a non stick surface and be easy to clean. Even with all of these conditions met, it can still be difficult to make crepes.

Spreading the batter is a required action so that no cooking is started until the spread is done. This is difficult if you are making it in a frying pan and trying the swirling method. The next difficulty come when it's time to flip the crepe over. The delicate nature of the food makes it difficult to turn it over without breaking it or without it landing folded over on itself.

You may count these as obstacles and thus not many likes to cook crepes at the comfort of their home. However, none of these things is a good enough reason why you can't make them yourself. This is because it is possible to by a crepe maker that will take care of all of the problems listed above!

Fantastically, using a crepe maker, you possess a flat, non-stick surface that has a good even heated spread and also convenient for cleaning. Most crepe makers come with tools to help you with the job of spreading the batter evenly. Then you close the machine and the crepe is cooked on both sides simultaneously.

Unlike the manual process of checking to be sure that the crepe is sufficiently browned, at the risk of ripping it, there is this sensor in the crepes maker that will alert you when the crepe is done to perfection! There is no need to worry that you will burn it on one or both sides. Then just open the machine and use the crepe turner to remove it from the crepe maker.

Other than cooking the perfect well cooked crepes without the extra work of flipping them over or fear about burning them, you save in cooking time as they are simultaneously cooked on both sides. This is a major convenience when you have family or friends waiting for their freshly cooked crepes! It's even possible to buy a double crepe maker that will pump out perfect crepes two at a time for added speed, perfect for a breakfast or brunch party!
